The Vancouver Island Raiders (7-2) expect to meet a desperate Westshore Rebels (2-7) at Caledonia Field today.
On the line for the Raiders is a guaranteed first-place finish in the B.C. Football Conference standings. For the Rebels, the final game of the regular season represents a final shot to make the post-season.
Head coach Matt 'Snoop' Blokker expects the Rebels will "throw the kitchen at us," but Westshore will have two quarterbacks, and two play packages, to deal with in the process.
The Raiders have rotated three quarterbacks this season, each armed with their own package of plays. With Jamie Ybarra sidelined with a broken collar bone, Jaeden Marwick and Jahmari Bennett will have to carry the weight.
"They're both going to play," said Blokker. "There's been an honest rivalry (at QB) all year ... it's really benefitted our team. These guys are going into the week expecting tobe starters."
The second-place Okanagan Sun (7-2) finish the season on Sunday against the Kamloops Broncos (2-6-1).
The Raiders game is at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
