The Flipside Gymnastics Club wrapped up their season with one big final showing at the Vancouver Island Zone Finals as 10 athletes brought home 15 medals.
Adin Brenner led the way with his second straight level 4 boys zone championship, bouyed by a 12.2 out of 13 on his Tsuk vault.
Savannah Rathy also earned a gold medal in the level 2 novice vault, with a near perfect score of 12.95 on her way to a fourth all around finish. In the level 2 girls novice, Halina Lindia earned silver on the uneven bars and Erica Jensen brought back a bronze on the beam and finished fourth on the floor. Camryn Formaniuk also placed third in the tyro uneven bars. Jordan Holts also had a good championship, highlighted by a 12.25 in her novice floor routine.
In the girls level 1 agro Marlin Marston earned silver on the unevenbars and bronze on the on floor to finish sixth overall, while Jayla Franklin grabbed bronze on the uneven bars and Kayla Howell finished seventh. In level 1 tyro, Rachel Zuccaro placed second on the bars and fourth in vault to finish sixth overall.
