CAIRO - The Egyptian Football Association says it will keep Bob Bradley as coach for the second leg of the World Cup playoff against Ghana next month, though that will likely be the American's last game.
Egypt lost the first leg 6-1 and the return leg is on Nov. 19. Only a dramatic turnaround and World Cup qualification could see the former United States coach stay on.
Bradley told The Associated Press in an interview on Sunday "if we don't manage to make a miracle (in the second leg), then I'll be finished."
The EFA said keeping Bradley until the end of qualifying means it will avoid paying him $435,000 in compensation.
