RICHMOND, B.C. - Charges have now been laid in connection with a crash in Richmond, B.C., that killed two teenaged brothers.
Richmond RCMP Cpl. Stephanie Ashton says Ryan Jeffrey Webster of Richmond is charged with two counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over .08.
Sixteen-year-old Jess Moses and his 19-year-old brother Shane were passengers in a 2006 BMW on May 12, 2012 when it slammed into a tree near Steveston and No. 4 Road, south of Vancouver,.
At the time, Ashton says Webster was 20-years-old and had a graduated Class 7 licence.
Class seven restrictions require an "N" decal on the driver's car, a zero blood-alcohol limit and only a single passenger.
Webster's next court date is set for November 28 in Richmond.
