TORONTO - FirstService Corp. (TSX:FSV) says its residential property management business, FirstService Residential, has acquired Missouri's largest residential property management company.
Financial terms of the deal under which it acquired Curry Association Management were not disclosed.
Curry is involved in the management of some 30,000 units throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
"Establishing a leading position in the Kansas City market was a strategic priority for us and helps to reinforce our market leading presence throughout North America," FirstService CEO Chuck Fallon said Tuesday in announcing the acquisition.
Curry Association Management is involved in the management of some 30,000 units throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
FirstService, with the addition of Curry, extends its position as the largest residential property management firm in North America with more than 6,000 properties representing over 1.5 million residences across the continent.
Overall, FirstService manages more than 2.3 billion square feet of residential and commercial properties in North America and globally, generating more than US$2.3 billion in revenue and employing 23,000 people worldwide.
